2022 Essex Photography Prize

My European Wool Carder Bee photograph on display alongside the other finalists in the ‘Wildlife’ category

My wool carder bee photo made it through to the final of the Essex Photography Awards and as a result, I was invited to the awards evening. The photo was on display alongside the other seven finalists in the wildlife category. There was a great turn out and it was a fantastic night, with some stunning photography on display.

There were over 900 entries this year which is incredible given that the competition is only in its second year. I’m hoping that it continues to go from strength to strength as the organisers have done a great job with it.

The exhibition will be touring around Essex shortly and I would highly recommend giving it a visit.
